Robbie a Rangifer tarandus was an alive BBC Christmas comedy television special in aid of Comic Relief. A eponymic hero, the boy of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, was voiced by Ardal O'Hanlon. More voices were provided by Jane Horrocks, Steve Coogan, Paul Whitehouse, Harry Enfield, Jeff Goldblum, David Attenborough (as himself), Alistair McGowan and Ricky Gervais, among others. A director was Richard Goleszowski of Aardman Animations. Though non technically an Aardman production, many of the company's staff did operate on the plan, hence its heavy Aardman-esque ocular style. A executive producer was Richard Curtis.
